How to install SMF mods

SMF includes a Package Manager that installs mods and themes for you. You upload a package, and SMF applies the changes. Here’s the typical flow.

Have an SMF 2.1 forum. Mods from SMFPacks.com are built for SMF 2.1. Make sure your forum is up to date.
Get the package. After purchasing a mod, theme, or pack from SMFPacks.com, download the package file (usually a .zip) from your client area.
Open the Package Manager. In your forum’s admin panel, go to Admin → Package Manager (or Maintain → Package Manager, depending on your SMF version).
